Collective Garden Spaces
One of the Greenbriar Collective's projects is collective gardening. The participating gardens coordinate the crops they will grow, so that each plant can be grown in the most suitable place, and also to facilitate seed saving, crop rotation, and other principles of Permaculture. In addition, this provides community to us as gardeners, so that we can work together and share tools and labor.
Each individual garden has a garden bottomliner, who coordinates efforts at that garden, and there is also a garden coordinator who coordinates between gardens.
Right now, there are five gardens in the Garden Collective:
The Casa de la Corazòn
The OCHA house
Mahina's house
The Earth Community Garden
OU Community Garden
