THE NORMAN FOOD NOT BOMBS PROJECT IS CURRENTLY SLEEPING.

If you would like to help reawaken it, please feel free to contact one of the current bottomliners, John or Withlyn.

Norman Food Not Bombs started in December, 2005, by folks from The Greenbriar Collective. We began serving food once a week at Andrews Park, on Sunday afternoons from 5pm until sunset, when the park closes. We also distribute free food donated by local markets and gardeners.

Cooking is done at one of two co-op houses, usually at Casa de la Corazón, at 727 North Findlay Avenue. We hope to eventually serve more than one meal per week, and perhaps to branch out to cook at other houses.

We pick up donated produce several afternoons per week, and offer it for pickup at Casa de la Corazón.

Anybody can come and share free food with us - starving artists, poor radicals, punks, homeless people, mothers with young children, college students, tourists, local storekeepers... We hope that YOU will share with us. Please come to our free picnic every Sunday.
